ASK was established on March 5, 1999 and has more than 6,000 entrepreneurial entities locally, partnering with 50000 companies , including about 70 economic and social associations and unions worldwide.

ASK is a member of the International Organization of Employers, the World Association of NGOs, the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

It closely cooperates with the embassies of the USA, the UK, Germany, France, Iran, Turkey and Egypt and Israel in Azerbaijan, and has more than 25 representatives worldwide.
